• Email: ends in @theminingshop.co.uk, such as [email protected] and [email protected]. Any other domain is not us.

• Marketplaces: we also sell through our own listings on eBay and Amazon under our company name. Those sales run entirely on the marketplace's systems; nobody legitimate will ask you to pay for a marketplace order outside the marketplace.

These rules never change, and they are your strongest protection:

• We never change bank details or wallet addresses by email. If you receive new details mid conversation, stop and call 01429 408034 to verify before sending anything.
• Bank details and wallet addresses appear only on an official pro forma or invoice sent from an @theminingshop.co.uk address, and every crypto invoice carries a unique wallet address. Never reuse an address from an earlier order.
• Card payments exist only for order totals under £1,500 excluding VAT, taken through Stripe at checkout on our own website. We will never send you a card payment link over chat or social media.
• We never accept cash, gift cards, or payment to a personal account, and we only accept payment from the invoiced business.

• Fake brokers and middlemen who claim to represent us or to get you a better price. We do not sell through brokers; if someone claims to act for The Mining Shop, ring us and check.
• Lookalike websites and social media accounts using our name, photos or reviews with a slightly different domain or handle.
• Deposit pressure: urgency to send crypto to a personal wallet to lock a price. Our deposits exist, but only under the written rules in our Payments Policy and only against an official invoice.
• Used or damaged units sold as new by third parties. Every unit we sell is new, bench tested and photographed before dispatch.
• Too good to be true pricing. Miner prices track live market earnings. A price far below the market is the oldest lure in the book.

How do I know an invoice is genuinely yours?

It arrives from an @theminingshop.co.uk address, quotes your order details, and its bank or wallet details match what we confirm on the phone. When in doubt, call before paying.

Do you ever take payment over social media or chat apps?

Never. Orders are paid by bank transfer or stablecoin against an official invoice, or by card at checkout on our website for orders under £1,500 excluding VAT.
