Deposits & Billing

Deposits typically cover one month of energy, are applied to energy charges and are non refundable. Invoices are monthly in advance, paid before rack in or renewal, by bank transfer or USDT and USDC. No cards, and all rates exclude VAT.

MOQs & Site Fees

Minimums run from 5 machines in Finland to 50 at the biggest sites, with install and sitting fees per location in the table above. Below an MOQ? Talk to us anyway.

Hydro & Immersion Extras

Specialist cooling equipment, peripherals and site preparation carry additional costs at hydro and immersion sites, quoted per deployment before you commit.

Delivery, Duties & Rack In

We facilitate the full delivery to site, including customs coordination. For non UK hosting the customer is liable for duties and taxes, billed at cost, and every machine is tested at the facility before rack in.

Warranty Whilst Hosting

Your warranty terms continue while hosted unless expressly varied in your hosting agreement. Facilities add environmental controls and proactive maintenance, and OEM firmware updates happen only with your authorisation.

The standard term is usually 12 months with up to a 10 day free grace period at the start. Uptime targets are indicative and subject to curtailment, maintenance and grid conditions; late or short payment can mean a temporary power down until the balance clears. Getting Into Hosting

Who can host, what we host and how fast machines can be earning.

No, and it is a deliberate rule. Hosting is exclusively for new ASIC miners purchased directly from The Mining Shop UK with an active warranty.

No used machines, no third party hardware, no out of warranty devices. It keeps every rack reliable for everyone on it, including our own machines.

Far more than Bitcoin. Across the network we host SHA-256, Scrypt, Equihash, Etchash, kHeavyHash and RandomX machines.

That covers Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Zcash, Ethereum Classic, Kaspa and Monero. Site by site support is in the table above; Oman carries the widest spread.

It depends on the site. Finland starts at 5 machines, the UK at 10, the UAE and Norway at 20, Oman at 30, and the United States, Ethiopia and Paraguay at 50.

Under a minimum? Ask anyway. Site mixes change, and we would rather talk than turn you away.

Before anything ships, the engineering team validates the fit and confirms live capacity. Nothing racks in on a guess.

Once payment clears and engineering signs off, we coordinate the intake window with the site. Timelines depend on the facility queue and logistics, and every machine is tested at the site before rack in.

For selected devices you can even earn while the hardware travels: temporary hashrate can run from order confirmation, for the energy used plus a one time £40 plus VAT connection fee.

Money and Terms

Deposits, billing, VAT, moving rates and how to pay safely.

Deposits typically cover one month of energy and are applied to your energy charges. They are non refundable, and the per site amounts are published in the table above.

No hidden joining fees on top: install and sitting fees are listed per location too.

Monthly, in advance, with invoices paid before rack in or renewal. Payment is by bank transfer or cryptocurrency in USDT or USDC on the network shown on your invoice.

No card payments. Late or short payment can mean a temporary power down until the balance clears, so talk to us early if timing is tight.

Rates are quoted exclusive of VAT, with UK VAT added where applicable. For hosting outside the UK, VAT handling follows the rules of the destination jurisdiction.

Hosting invoices are issued separately from hardware invoices, which keeps the records clean for your accountant.

They can move. Site capacity, FX, local taxes and market conditions all feed the rate, which is why the published figures are indicative and every quote is confirmed by the engineering team before you commit.

Your hosting agreement then sets out how your rate works before anything racks in.

Our bank details never change partway through an email thread, and neither do wallet addresses. Any message claiming otherwise is a scam.

If something looks unusual, stop and call 01429 408034 before sending a penny. A genuine invoice always carries your order reference and comes from our own domain.

Hosting usually starts with up to a 10 day free grace period covering onboarding and early monitoring, so the first wrinkles cost you nothing.

You do, directly, through your own pool account and wallet. We never collect, hold or distribute customer mining rewards.

Your keys stay yours from the first share to the last payout.

You watch from your phone; the site watches around the clock.

Straight to the on site repair centre. Facilities hold common spares and handle diagnostics on the spot, which is the difference between hours of downtime and weeks of freight.

Your warranty keeps applying while hosted, and OEM firmware updates happen only with your authorisation.

You can, with the costs on you: shipping, any export and import duties, relocation and onward delivery are all chargeable, and leaving before the end of the term usually means settling the remaining hosting or energy balance.
