02 / A place in your project

Choose how your immersion system grows.

Start with a B100 tank, choose a container, or use an existing building. The module count and the load in each tank determine the working fleet.

Choosing the format

Temperature management and remote monitoring are handled through the Fog web portal. The number of machines that can be installed depends on their chassis and power requirements.

The tank is one part of the cooling system. The order should also identify the fluid, external cooler, power distribution and any required heat exchanger.

Defining the scope

Build the quotation around the miner model, site location, available power and cooling conditions. Agree the equipment schedule, delivery arrangements and commissioning responsibilities before placing an order.

Cooling explained

Show how the cooling works

See how this cooling method moves heat away from the mining hardware.

Hardware in insulating fluid

Compatible hardware sits in a dielectric fluid that absorbs its heat. The fluid passes through a cooler directly, or transfers heat to a separate circuit through an exchanger.

Why choose immersion

Immersion can reduce miner fan noise and exposure to airborne dust. It also brings the heat into a liquid circuit that can support a planned heat reuse system.

What the site needs

Use fluid approved for the hardware, seals and circuit materials. Allow for filling, fluid handling and servicing, along with the electrical load and space required by pumps and external coolers.

Schematic illustration. Hydro and immersion diagrams show a separated circuit example; some systems connect directly to a compatible cooler. Heat reuse needs a suitable local demand and a separate engineered connection.

Power distribution and controls

Power distribution and cooling equipment must be matched to the selected hardware. The published reference configuration is summarised below.

  • Controls: Individual miner, pump and cooler circuits
  • Monitoring: Automatic temperature control and Fog web portal

04 / Useful heat

Give the heat a purpose.

These are applications to assess with a thermal designer, not promised outputs or evidence that recovery equipment is included.

Mining heat can be useful where there is a nearby demand at a suitable temperature. A separate heat exchanger can transfer useful heat to a compatible building or process circuit.

Keep independent heat rejection available when the receiving site cannot use the heat. Any recovery plant, temperature boost and additional pumps belong in the project specification and energy budget.

Mining heat→Isolated heat exchanger→Suitable local heat demand

Water preheating

Assess whether a separate water circuit can accept useful heat before its normal heating stage.

Greenhouse heating

Match the heating circuit to the crop schedule, seasonal demand and available water temperature.

Seasonal control

Retain independent cooling when the receiving building or process cannot accept heat. Account for pumps, fans and any temperature boost in the project economics.

05 / Before delivery

Prepare for B Series immersion.

A clear specification prevents the site and the equipment from being designed in isolation.

Plan the foundation, lifting route, service access, incoming power and external cooling together. Component weights and dimensions refer to the named parts and fill conditions, rather than automatically describing a complete operating installation.

Site and access

Agree the foundation, delivery route, lifting plan and service clearances for the supplied equipment.

Miner selection

Confirm physical fit, connection type and continuous electrical load before committing to a fleet quantity.

Commissioning

Define who installs, tests and commissions each part of the system, including external plant and monitoring.

Project questions

Clear from the start.

Are miners included?

Miners are separate unless expressly included in the written equipment schedule.

Is this available immediately?

Availability and lead time require confirmation. This page does not represent confirmed stock allocation.

What does the price cover?

The written quotation confirms the supplied equipment, miner quantity where included, freight, tax treatment and commissioning responsibilities. Availability and dispatch timing are confirmed for the order.

06 / Fleet planning

Also bought with.

Each fleet example is an alternative, not an additional group to combine. The final miner order needs an approved configuration.

Fog Hashing names M66 and S21 IMM families for its B Series. These examples use native immersion miners. The physical position count is an upper limit; the thermal allowance in each B100 tank can reduce the quantity. These are planning combinations, not a record of previous purchases.

How the fleet totals work

The calculation uses 1 B100 tank module with up to 20 positions and a 100 kW reference cooling allowance per tank. It allows 5% above catalogue miner wattage and rounds down inside each tank before multiplying by the module count. Actual cooling duty depends on the selected cooler, fluid, flow and site temperature.

Miner cost and gross monthly earnings use current catalogue unit values multiplied by quantity. Earnings use the same base field as the homepage cards, before electricity, operating costs and downtime. No heat income or bulk discount is assumed. The infrastructure is quoted separately. These totals are illustrations, not guarantees of income or availability.
