Capacity, compatibility and the details that matter when planning your installation.
The Bitmain ANTSPACE HW7 hydro mining container gives operators a choice of two published layouts: up to 396 T type hydro miners or 242 S23e U2H miners in the 2U format. That choice makes the intended miner fleet the starting point for planning the container and its supporting infrastructure.
The HW7 cooling unit combines a dry cooler with a water curtain and is rated for 2,000kW of heat dissipation. Its electrical input is specified at 380 to 480V, 50/60Hz, three phase. BITMAIN lists rated container power of 2,100kW and maximum supported input power of 2,500kW, separately from the cooling rating.
The published miner counts describe available positions. Actual operating capacity depends on miner power demand, cooling requirements and local conditions. Confirm the precise machine format and allow for foundations, lifting access, water supply and the required clearance around the cooling equipment.

03 / Power and cooling
Distribution cabinets, PDU functions and the supporting equipment for ANTSPACE HW7.
The HW7 lists 1200A main switch capacity, four 960A maximum input feeds and a 25A slot ceiling. Its 2100kW rated input and 2500kW maximum input are electrical figures; the cooling unit is rated at 2000kW.
The cooling unit combines a dry cooler and water curtain. The manufacturer lists two 30kW circulation pumps, 22 cooling fans rated at 4.1kW each and two 1.5kW water curtain pumps. These are component nameplate ratings, not a promise of constant consumption.
BITMAIN specifies either 396 T type positions or 242 S23e U2H positions. These are alternative layouts, not additive capacities. The source does not identify a smart PDU model or promise individual outlet metering; confirm those functions and the rack layout in your quotation.
The current sheet gives PUE 1.03 at stated test conditions. Treat efficiency, water consumption and temperature limits as conditional reference values rather than fixed results at every site. Request the single line diagram, breaker schedule, PDU outlet model, cable list, cooling schematic and commissioning requirements for the unit supplied.
04 / Heat reuse
Potential applications for an engineered recovery system. Heating equipment is not included in the container price unless expressly quoted.
The HW7 liquid loop may support a designed heat recovery system, but its current specification does not identify a supplied heat recovery package. A suitable exchanger, hydraulic separation and control strategy would need approval for the selected circuit and miners. Retain independent heat rejection for periods of low heating demand.
Nearby buildings or a heat network may accept recovered heat directly at suitable temperatures, or through a heat pump. MARA reports operating district heating projects in Finland; these demonstrate the application, not certification of this ANTSPACE model.
Read the district heating example ↗A greenhouse with a suitable heating circuit is a potential heat user. GDA has researched the use of mining heat for greenhouse farming in Sweden. A project needs a seasonal heat demand calculation rather than a fixed area per container claim.
Read the greenhouse project ↗As a project concept, recovered heat could preheat pool or process water through an isolated secondary circuit. The usable temperature, exchanger materials, water treatment and backup heating must be designed for that application.
Confirm miner supply and return temperature limits, flow, pressure loss, fluid compatibility, heat exchanger duty, the receiving system temperature and year round demand. Add bypass controls and retain sufficient cooling for summer or loss of heat demand. A heat pump may be needed for a higher delivery temperature. The cooling rating is not guaranteed recoverable heat, and no heat sales or heating savings are included in the earnings below.
BITMAIN offers waste heat heating design services. Obtain approval for the exact container revision before modifying its circuit.
05 / Plan your installation
Share your miner list and site details with our team before confirming the container configuration.
Confirm voltage, distribution and total site demand. Include the miners, cooling equipment and other electrical loads.
Check ambient conditions, the cooling circuit and any water or immersion fluid requirements for your chosen equipment.
Plan vehicle access, unloading, foundations and service clearances. Agree the delivery scope before arranging installation.
The HW7 supports different T type and 2U arrangements. These are alternative layouts. Do not combine the two capacities or assume the same rack, power and pipe schedule applies to both.
The water curtain is part of the cooling strategy. Confirm seasonal water availability, quality, treatment and drainage with the selected operating conditions before finalising the site design.

Confirm the supplied equipment list in your quotation. Do not assume ASIC miners, accessories or installation are included in the container price.
Compatibility depends on the exact miner model, cooling method, electrical connections and configuration. Send us your proposed miner list for checking.
Ask for the current allocation and expected dispatch window. The quoted lead time and delivery arrangements will be confirmed for your order.
06 / Compatible fleet examples
Compare suitable ANTMINER families using current catalogue base values. Each card represents an alternative fleet of one model, not three fleets to combine.
These S21 Hydro examples use the standard T type layout. The alternative 242 position S23e U2H layout requires a separate miner selection. Confirm the supplied rack, PSU connectors and coolant flow before ordering.

Planning quantity = the lower of the supported slot count and the whole number of miners within the chosen power budget, allowing 5% above each miner's catalogue wattage. This page uses 1900kW for ANTSPACE HW7. HD5 reserves 100kW from its 1512kW normal figure; HW5 uses the older 1062kW limit until its revision is confirmed; HW7 reserves 100kW below its 2000kW cooling rating; MD5 reserves 100kW within its 1000kW container figure. These are conservative screening assumptions, not commissioned or manufacturer approved fleet sizes.
Fleet price = current unit price × quantity. Fleet gross monthly earnings = the same per miner base earnings field used by the homepage card × quantity. Hashrate and miner power also scale with quantity; efficiency and earnings per kWh remain per unit ratios. A combined hardware total is shown only where a container price is available; otherwise the container is quoted separately. No bulk discount, electrical infrastructure, delivery adjustment, cooling electricity, downtime or heat income is assumed.
Gross earnings are estimates before electricity and operating costs. Final quantities also depend on ambient temperature, coolant flow, distribution across cabinets, PSU connectors and the approved rack layout.
